It really adds to the scope of the whole plot and in the long run will make the entire story feel like a grand adventure with every story beat leaving more of an impact than it did before. The anticipation for the sequels has a unique type of excitement behind them, and few games can replicate the feeling of being a remake with a story so large they can get away with splitting it into multiple games.

The characters feel like humans, the places feel lived in, convincing. The party leaves Midgar all the same and the story will continue as intended in the next game. Looking forward to the next part.I love the game from start to finish, i thought they cut some weird corners with textures not loading and some side quests that didnt quite make sense for that i give it a 90 but overall very amazingAbsolutely amazing remake, the original is one of my favourite games of all times and this is just an amazing remake of it, ranging from the music the settings to the amazing characters. The combat design was pretty satisfying, like a good mix of FFXV and Kingdom Hearts 1. How long to beat Final Fantasy 7 Remake? And I absolutely loved this game. The story was very strong albeit cheesy at times but charming as it is for most anime-like games.

And if you already played FF7 this is still worth a playthrough considering that this is pretty much the starting point for a sequel, not really a remake.Awesome if you know the Original, may be confusing if not. Spoilers for the end of the original FFVII as well as the remake. Time ghosts are peppered throughout scenes to explain the various retcons in FF7 remake's altered retelling of the original story. It’s stunning looking, music is amazing. To complete just the story of Final Fantasy 7 Remake – without committing to completing all the side-quests and completing all the mini-games – you will need to put around That's based on our playing for review, in which we completed most of the side missions and completed all of the mini-games.The amount of time the game will take you to complete may be affected by which difficulty setting you select. They didn't suck the soul out of final fantasy or anything but the Midgar section from the original is changed heavily to fit a whole modern AAA game. By Callum Williams Apr 09, 2020 Share Share Tweet Email Red XIII, on the other hand, is introduced so late into the story that the devs decided not to even make him a playable character. Jag hade otroligt höga förväntningar på det här spelet - ändå överträffades de med råge!Worst sidequests ever, but the ending turned my brain to pulled porkThis... was not nearly as good as I expected it to be, but it was very good. I doubt I'll be jumping on the next installment right away.FF7R is a game that fluctuates in quality. My final score of the game is a 9.6/10. A couple of low-res textures stood out here and there, but overall the game looks fantastic. Damn this game was fucking fantastic I couldn't want more.I want to say this right up front, Final Fantasy VII Remake does NOT replace the original. I'm not disappointed in this game by any means, but it wasn't the groundbreaking, game of the year remake of a previous game of the year I think I was made to expect. Not as good as the original, but still a fun time and it's fun to see more of Midgar. As with FFXV, the environments for story-based locations was phenomenal, while the art really suffered in some combat areas. Each of the characters have a very unique combat style, and the player actually has to be capable at all of them.Fantastic gameplay, disappointing exaggerated stretch of Midgar and key story points that deviate from the Original.Masterpiece. That last chapter ruined a lot of the whole game for me. However, the ending was too conceded and confusing. Some of the effects of Materia could've used more explaining (too vague). I don't know how excited I am for the 2nd part of the remake but I'll definitely replay the original before I replay this. It *almost* beats Breath of the Wild as the best game of all time in my opinion, but comes very, very close. Your friends feel like your friends and villains feel like villains. The story/pacing however does drag quite a bit. Recreates and expands parts of the original well. Amazing combat, characters, story, and a surprising amount of content. If you’re reading this, you’ve likely already played the game, so I won’t explain what happens any longer. All in all it's a fun, entertaining game but it's different to compare to the original, given we only have such a small portion available to us. Gameplay is definitely something the game gets right compared to FFXV, every character feels fun and different to play and the returning materia system makes customization simple and fun. One new character introduced here is Roche, a SOLDIER who has some brief encounters with the main cast, but all in all was kind of useless. How long to beat Final Fantasy 7 Remake The Final Fantasy VII Remake will take between 30-50 hours to beat. Overall: 10/10. It could easily have been 4/5. A lot of the charm from the 1997's roughness is gone and replaced by a modern square enix sheen. Fun for die-hard fans and newbies alike, excited for part 2I had never really intended to play Final Fantasy VII Remake. Let down by some filler, odd character choices, and new story developments which seem to overshadow the intent of the original.Amazing music!! Couldn't force myself to finish it.Wonderfully fleshes out the characters of the original and updates the combat to feel modern, yet also like a Final Fantasy game. For a series I had never played a game through for, this game didn't particularly catch my eye. Starts out great and ends great but there is 20 plus hours of middle slow trudge.great game with some flaws in difficulty and a questionable endingMy first playthrough on normal difficulty was fun, touching and challenging for most of the time, but there was always certain things that I was hoping to overlook when making a 2nd playthrough on hard mode, for better or worst I do believe hard mode is the "better" way of playing FF7R although those certain things that I was hoping to overlook were stronger also.FF7 remake is a very different beast to the original game. It suffers from all feeling like an introduction to a grander story and some of the new stuff felt quite forced.
